Acceptance of terms
By using LimkaKit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to every tool on the site; no additional account or agreement exists because there are no accounts.
What the service is
LimkaKit provides free browser-based and server-assisted tools for converting, compressing, inspecting, and preparing video, image, and audio files. The service is offered free of charge. Features may change, and individual tools may be added or removed, without notice.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to overload, automate, or abuse the processing infrastructure; circumvent the processing limits; scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others; or use the tools to process content you have no right to process (malware, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights).
Your files and your rights to them
You must hold the rights to any files you process. You process your own content and remain solely responsible for it. We claim no ownership over your files or the outputs produced from them: outputs are yours, and file inputs are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our intellectual property
The site's code, design, text, and branding are the property of the site owner. You may use the tools freely (that is the point), but you may not copy the site itself, resell it, or present it as your own service.
No warranty
All tools are provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Compatibility results and calculator outputs are informational and advisory; always verify against current platform documentation before publishing or delivering work. We make no guarantees about output quality, file sizes, or compatibility with any platform. You keep your own backups: client-side tools never receive a copy of your file, and server-side copies are deleted within an hour, so we cannot recover a file for you after processing.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from use of the service. If the tools corrupt, fail to convert, or misreport a file, your remedy is to not rely on the result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Advertising
We offer this site without advertising at launch. If advertising is added in the future, this section is updated to explain what is shown, who serves it, and choice you have, including any personalized-ads opt-in. Current behavior: no advertisements, no ad-related cookies.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Material changes are reflected on this page with a new date on the version history. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
