Each platform publishes technical requirements: allowed codecs, resolution and frame rate combinations, bitrate ranges, and container details. The checker reads the actual properties of your file in the browser and compares them against those published specs, per platform, in one pass.
The verdicts are concrete: which requirement passes, which fails, and by how much. A green result means the file matches every requirement we check. Platforms occasionally behave outside their own published specs, so a pass is not a promise, but the common causes of failed uploads are exactly what this check eliminates.
